Hey Slipper!
It sure does end “/Legend”. I just messed up the slash when I inserted the space. Thanks for catching that. I fixed it in the code sample.

As odd as it sounds, one of my favorite responsibilities of my relatively new profession is pretty mindless. I can fall into the rhythm of pill counting and lose myself to the patterns of circles and ovals for as long as the scripts to fill hold out (or other obligations fail to intrude). I’m somewhat…
Why do I do this to myself? This quiz says absolutely nothing about your personality. Take it! Things are slowly returning to Eastern Standard Time for me. The cats aren’t quite back to normal yet, but then anybody who has read my journal for more than three entries knows that the cats have never been…
Her name is Selkie, after the Celtic mythological creature. She’s a terror and a sweatheart. Thank heaven The Professor is on a vampire schedule at the moment, so Selkie has somebody to keep her amused while I try to sleep. The Clueless Wonder is a little taken aback, but is getting used to sharing his…
Armed with pain meds (dulling both my nerves and my brain) I decided it was safe to go back into the water. Put less prosaically, I was way over-due for a shower. I’ve been doing my best at the sink, but it just isn’t the same thing. While painful, the experience of lukewarm water on…
I’m feeling healthier today. That always has a positive effect on my mood. It’s pouring rain outside, but somehow that doesn’t feel so oppressive as yesterday’s simple grey skies did. I picked up Clueless Wonder’s atenolol from his vet last night, and made an appointment for his one year follow-up. He’s doing well on his…
Poetry Mining Company Dissolved by Elizabeth Farrell Now war has evolved into smart bombs, clean kills and all the other oxymorons or should we say dissolved into turning away from the innocent’s cries and the screams of an earth laid to waste. Maybe Native Americans had the answer when they sent their chiefs into battle…
Hi,
Thanks for the tip on the "view source", that should come in quite handy as I am an HTML idiot. For my birthday, I hope someone buys me ‘HTML For Dummies’, lol.
I can imagine that your days DO creep along. While I have never had surgery on such a grand scale as you, recouperation has just got to be the most boring thing on earth. You can only watch so much daytime TV (shudders)and read so many magazines before utter maddness sets in and you start contemplating ways to torture the houseplants for fun…….
Take Care,
Bobbi
While I am not recouping from major surgery, I can feel your boredom. I am so sick of meaningly days. I can hardly wait until Monday when I begin my field and have busy productive time again.
TV and books can only go so far.
Here’s to hoping the darn incision quits giving you grief soon!
It is a doublesome pain when you are not well and bored at the same time. Try to pick up a new hobby or ANYTHING to do, to keep your mind occupied while your body is healing.
I hope that your days of the future get BETTER for you.
Honey
i’m so glad to read you again! sorry about the pain and boredom, but they mean you’re still here.
hey, does that LEGEND end? /LEGEND?
