Well, I did it.
I dyed my hair. Nothing major, just a rinse to cover the creeping grey scourge. It’s still wet, so I can’t really evaluate the results yet.
I’m already afraid of what I’ll see when my hair dries, though.

I’m a little lost this weekend. It’s the same old New Year blues that hits me as predictably as the battery on my camera running out just before the cats do something that absolutely needs to be captured for posterity. This time of year is a beach fresh at low tide. The water has gone…
I spent a little over twenty minutes outside watching the hummingbird nest with binocculars from the deck. There was no activity. It’s too early to tell, but I have a bad feeling.
I got this out of NooNoo’s diary. (Why did you have to name yourself after a teletubby character, NooNoo? I always feel silly calling you by your username.) What obscure animal are you? Sugar Gliders are nocturnal In the wild they eat mostly fruits As pets they love sugar cubes and other sweets They’re very…
I think the rush of appointments and tests is finally nearly done with. It’s a good thing, too. This entire process has made me far to self-absorbed for my own good. It’s time to resume just plain living again. I did get a call today from the Transplant Coordinator at Big City Hospital confirming I…
My favorite radio station is doing a “top 885” song countdown. I’m not entirely sure what number they’re down to now, but they started this morning and won’t end until Friday sometime. They just played In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. The long version. Simon and Garfunkle’s “Homeward Bound” has just started. It’s a very surrealistic blast from the past…

She was suffering from partial paralysis in her paw and couldnât walk anymore. A neurologist at the hospital suggested hydrotherapy to help Nazzaning walk again. He explained, âHer muscles needed…
You realy should do work at the zoo. It’s obvious how happy the place makes you.
Andhaving guys around when moving furniture seems to mellow women on us for some reason. *grin*
Sounds fun. Our zoo is sad. It consists mostly of animals that just happened to be grazing there on the land when they built it (kidding).
I bet your hair looks great! I’m planning to do mine this week too. (of course, I’ve been coloring mine since I was 18!) 🙂 Enjoy your new color!
hi Salamander,
