Thanks a bunch, Slipperperson!
Which Brady Bunch kid are you most like?
I think I’m beginning to get disgusted with myself.

My first entry of 2011 and I’m already bitching. Life as we know it continues. Things that I got for Christmas that I might be able to regift: ●4 Gorham âFestive Hollyâ votives ●Lenox âJust Jinglesâ tree ornament (which I note with amusement has âAmerican by Designâ printed on the box but âMade in Chinaâ…
It’s more like who I am simultaneously. I have a seond diary here at DD that I keep for a group of people who met in cyberspace and have become friends. We post to each other on a message board that the Professor created. It’s nice in that it is a very ecclectic, international community….
Illness takes its toll on even the best relationships. I am not the person I was this time last year. I don’t have the stamina I once did. I don’t have the patience I once did. I find that I often have less to talk about than I once did; it seems pointless somehow to…
No cutesy buttons with this one, just some interesting questions. 5 Favorite Drugs Store Items 1. picture frames (my drug store always has cheap and different ones) 2. miniatures (you know, little toothpastes, little shampoos, little soaps) 3. Hair color (ever since I started last summer, I’ve been staring at the boxes, daring myself to…
I had big plans of finally getting my Frederick, MD entry done. The pictures are downloaded from my camera and organized. But as I was getting ready to resize them for diary use, I pooped out. Looks like the project is just gonna hafta wait a bit more. Yesterday was a day sent directly from…
Yes, Lil, that is the ring. Magnificent, isn’t it? [insert beaming smile here] And, since The Socialist said I could wear it as an engagement ring, that’s exactly what I’m doing. Everything remains informal, and there’s still no date set or even discussed. I’m perfectly happy to go with the flow though. Yesterday The Socialist…
Thanks for the warning label!
Edward Gorey…i LOVE that. A high school english teacher had posters up all over her room. She was the sponsor for our literary magazine and we used to taunt her by writing "prostate" on her blackboard. For some reason she thought it was a horrible and gross word.
i miss her.
i apologize for being self-absorbed…i sincerely hope you feel better.
; )

i thought about waiting for half price calendars, but i paid full price and got a buddhist calendar for my kitchen and a word-a-day dictionary calendar for my cube. today’s word is je ne sais quoi.
But that’s *four* words, Slipperperson!
Hope everything goes okay when you see the doctor.

Ouch about all the "sharing" hope you feel better. about the lump…OMG go to the doctor already!! What in the heck is that? With Lupus I have lovley rashes and such that like to visit my body, so I know how much fun that can be.
Hope you feel better
Make him watch Castaway. That’ll teach him.
LMAO @ THE THIRD MAN!
I’m sorry… But… when we’re watching Billy Elliott with school at the cinema, they showed a preview on The Third Man and it was hilarious… ‘Cause there was all these music and every 5 seconds the commerical said "The Third Man". *Giggles*
Uhm I’m a bit tired -_-
*Hug*
cur
hahaaha! loved your entry!
take care salamandar,

Glad the dentist wasn’t bad. Hope the lump turns out similarly. Meanwhile, the garlic steak might have contributed to the festivities. I was just reading an issue of Redbook yesterday that recommends garlic for, er, encouraging that sort of thing. They also said that women should wear pumpkin and lavendar to, um, further encourage that sort of thing. Apparently it increases male blood flow to a certain location by 44%. :O
I’m trying to get caught up on all your entries! I hope you get through to the Dr soon as that lump doesn’t sound good. Take care and hope you feel better soon.
So not only is garlic good for the immune system and keeping vampires away, but now we learn it’s an aphrodesiac too?! Thanks Moonridden! (It’s also great at fighting colds). Garlic for everyone!
