Thanks a bunch, Slipperperson!

Which Brady Bunch kid are you most like?
I think I’m beginning to get disgusted with myself.
I think I’m beginning to get disgusted with myself.
I so, I’ve got the NZ itinerary, and Christchurch is Tuesday, January 8th with free time in the afternoon. Get in touch using my email (if you have it) or private message if you don’t have it, and we’ll see if we can work something out.
If anyone really, really, really wants to see my initial rant on this from last Friday, they can go to The Meaning of Words, which should open up in a separate window if I coded that correctly. Anyhow, a few more disjointed musing. A word of warning: do not presume by reading this that you…
I just put my name on a volunteer list for clean-up for the Gulf oil spill. I took the optional wildlife courses in vet school, and have some basic knowledge of what the grunt work would be on site, so I figure that makes me useful. If they want me I could be on my…
Thanks to MoonriddenGirl for providing the link to Animal Totem Quiz. Unlike last week’s religion quiz, I am not prone to take this one seriously, but it was still fun to do. Your totem animal is the EAGLE. You may find that these regal birds appear in your dreams. If they haven’t yet, look out…
“Why pay money to have your family tree traced? Go into politics when your opponents will do it for you.” – Mark Twain The Professor was very solicitous last night. Told me to make sure to get to bed early, not to worry about the wash or the vacuuming or the shopping or the anything….
Took that “art test” I’ve seen popping up on a few diaries today (don’t know where the original source was). When I got the results, I honest-to-god laughed out loud. How painfully appropriate: If I was a work of art, I would be Edvard Münch’s The Scream. I express the subconscious troubles and anxieties of…
Thanks for the warning label!
Edward Gorey…i LOVE that. A high school english teacher had posters up all over her room. She was the sponsor for our literary magazine and we used to taunt her by writing "prostate" on her blackboard. For some reason she thought it was a horrible and gross word.
i miss her.
i apologize for being self-absorbed…i sincerely hope you feel better.
; )

Ouch about all the "sharing" hope you feel better. about the lump…OMG go to the doctor already!! What in the heck is that? With Lupus I have lovley rashes and such that like to visit my body, so I know how much fun that can be.

Make him watch Castaway. That’ll teach him.
LMAO @ THE THIRD MAN!
I’m sorry… But… when we’re watching Billy Elliott with school at the cinema, they showed a preview on The Third Man and it was hilarious… ‘Cause there was all these music and every 5 seconds the commerical said "The Third Man". *Giggles*

Glad the dentist wasn’t bad. Hope the lump turns out similarly. Meanwhile, the garlic steak might have contributed to the festivities. I was just reading an issue of Redbook yesterday that recommends garlic for, er, encouraging that sort of thing. They also said that women should wear pumpkin and lavendar to, um, further encourage that sort of thing. Apparently it increases male blood flow to a certain location by 44%. :O
I’m trying to get caught up on all your entries! I hope you get through to the Dr soon as that lump doesn’t sound good. Take care and hope you feel better soon.
So not only is garlic good for the immune system and keeping vampires away, but now we learn it’s an aphrodesiac too?! Thanks Moonridden! (It’s also great at fighting colds). Garlic for everyone!
