Thanks a bunch, Slipperperson!
Which Brady Bunch kid are you most like?
I think I’m beginning to get disgusted with myself.
I think I’m beginning to get disgusted with myself.
It’s 5:00. The moon is gibbous. I have no clue if its waxing or waning. The cats are scattered throughout the apartment, curled up in their respective favorite nooks. This means, of course, that the kitten is napping on the fresh laundry. There are dishes in the sink. I couldn’t be bothered. The alarm clock…
It’s 2:14 and I’m not asleep.
So much to catch up on. Dozens of diary update notifications I haven’t yet been able to respond to. And quite a few items to update myself as well. I’m feeling a tad overwhelmed at the moment. OK, for starters, I caught this one over at MoonriddenGirl’s page. I’ve pretty much sworn off quizzes, but…
subtitled: I felt like writing tonight. Iâve been to Holland, and seen the sights. I experienced Amsterdamâs âRed Light Districtâ, and the architecture of The Hague (which apparently means âthe hedgeâ in literal translation) and Iâve shopped till my companions dropped in Delft. I saw the modern dike system, and bird watched and visited the…
The Professor called me shortly before I left work yesterday. It was good to hear from him. He sounded a little lost, and confessed he’d been thinking about seeing if he couldn’t trade his airline ticket in for a sooner return flight. I don’t think he’s going to follow through. If he does, then picking…
I’m feeling a bit better today, but it still feels like I’ve been hit by a very large freight train. Since I’m still running a low-grade temperature, I took today off as well. I’ll be back to work tomorrow though, regardless. To answer questions: From: toverfeeDate Posted: 9 Jun 2004 Your sick days take away…
Thanks for the warning label!
Edward Gorey…i LOVE that. A high school english teacher had posters up all over her room. She was the sponsor for our literary magazine and we used to taunt her by writing "prostate" on her blackboard. For some reason she thought it was a horrible and gross word.
i miss her.
i apologize for being self-absorbed…i sincerely hope you feel better.
; )

Make him watch Castaway. That’ll teach him.
LMAO @ THE THIRD MAN!
I’m sorry… But… when we’re watching Billy Elliott with school at the cinema, they showed a preview on The Third Man and it was hilarious… ‘Cause there was all these music and every 5 seconds the commerical said "The Third Man". *Giggles*

Glad the dentist wasn’t bad. Hope the lump turns out similarly. Meanwhile, the garlic steak might have contributed to the festivities. I was just reading an issue of Redbook yesterday that recommends garlic for, er, encouraging that sort of thing. They also said that women should wear pumpkin and lavendar to, um, further encourage that sort of thing. Apparently it increases male blood flow to a certain location by 44%. :O
I’m trying to get caught up on all your entries! I hope you get through to the Dr soon as that lump doesn’t sound good. Take care and hope you feel better soon.
So not only is garlic good for the immune system and keeping vampires away, but now we learn it’s an aphrodesiac too?! Thanks Moonridden! (It’s also great at fighting colds). Garlic for everyone!
