It’s becoming more difficult to fit updates into my daily routine. There just aren’t enough hours in the standard day to get everything accomplished. Of note: someone from my company’s human resources department came out to my office last week. He wanted to know if I had any veterinary journals I could lend him that…
I did a little IP checking – you were number 16,000. If I can figure out an appropriate prize, I’ll send it your way. Anyhow, enough with the family history. We are who we are, and we each deal with it our own separate ways. I really don’t write in this journal for an opportunity…
Wooly bear caterpillars must be the northeastern United State’s local version of the arctic lemming. Akin to the lemmings’ inexorable march to the cliffs overlooking the sea in years of overpopulation, the onset of the cooler days of autumn triggers some suicidal instinct buried deep down on one of the three brain cells a wooly…
OK, candle, Iâll try to anticipate your questions by giving you my views on God in a nutshell. To anyone else reading, please understand up front that there is absolutely no intent to offend. I have Christian friends who devoutly believe and I was married to a Jewish man for many years whose extended family…
It’s that time of year again, when the geese in formation fly in uneasy short bursts and the last spring’s fawns are nearly as big as their mothers. The Prof and I headed to the local Natural Lands Trust reserve to hunt for the elusive monarch caterpillar under a sky that threatened rain but delivered…

And I can see why you miss him, too.
((Hugs))
Thank you for reminding me. If I ever had a cat I’d want one just like him.
*hug*
What a great picture!!! And finally a picture of YOU!!!
Sage has been gone almost a month and it has been hard. I see him everywhere.
Nice to see some entries from you…I am going to update today…hopefully.
I miss the big cuddly lug, too. If we ever have a cat I hope he’s just like George.
RYC: Loreena McKennit. That’s a concert that I’d absolutely love to see! Lucky dog!
I found out the the Celtic Woman tour is doing a show in Indy on April 12 and the link takes me to TicketMaster who swears they don’t have a listing for the show. It’s probably just as well since I’m coming home from Ireland on the 7th. and the idea of driving another 180 miles (even round trip) so soon after sort of gives me a crick in my neck, lol. Hopefully I can catch them the next time they’re in town.
