I got elfed.
Actually, our cats did.
Left, my two, Right, the Prof’s two.
Don’t tell them. I don’t think cats have a sense of humor about this sort of thing.

I welcomed in the New Year with continued dysentery the color and consistency of split pea soup. The Prof has suggested I rename this journal to “Salamander’s Diarya” (say it out loud if you don’t get the joke). Several doses of Imodium later (taken as directed, one after each bowel movement, not to exceed four…
I reacquainted myself with migraines yesterday. Why is it that pleasant experiences in life are fleeting, while misery doesn’t seem to need a forwarding address to know where you’ve moved to? I had full-blown migraines as a kid. The doctor said I’d probably grow out of them. I did. I’m assuming I’m entering my second…
Tonight I had to rush my foster to an emergency veterinary clinic half an hour from my house. This morning she was occasionally doing some open-mouthed breathing (never good in a cat), and as the day progressed she began refusing most food (never good in a diabetic). Her belly, which has always been distended since…
It’s been a fine weekend and confirms my love of October. Today was the kind of day that makes fall the best season of all. It was bright, just a tad nippy out, and the leaves just had a hint of red and yellow to them. Foliage season is coming, but fall is definitely here….
I do believe that my little grey cat-from-hell has forgiven me for abandoning her for two whole weeks. She has deigned to again regard my lap as a kitty-bed, and is even now taking her mid-morning siesta in the comfort of my discomforted legs. No matter. I’m sure feeling will return to them sometime later…
Serendipity is weird. And yes, this ties back to that “What tree are you this morning?” question that I’ve been playing with for four days now. Or is it five? I’ve lost track. I hit upon the answer this morning. Out of the blue, I knew what the right answer was, and why. But then…
Hahahahaha!
You would be in such trouble if they found out.
Oooooo— if they ever see that they are going to get even in the most alarming and destructive ways!

ROFL. The thought of doing that to our Cat is SO tempting…except I think that a semi-senile cat would be even *less* amused than yours. 🙂
That’s just WRONG *giggles*
LOL! What’s really funny is that when I called Tech Man over and clicked on "watch again", the program somehow generated TWO images of your (well, The Prof’s) crankiest cat! So there were FIVE cats there. She would be SO not-amused!
RYC: Don’t worry. You’re *definitely* staying on the friends list!
