The Prof and I went to see local small town fireworks for the fourth. It’s been years (and years and years) since I went to a fireworks show. I was prepared for something somewhat less than optimal, but I ended up really impressed by the show. There were a few fireworks I’d never seen before,…
… that I didn’t feel like wasting time on the computer over the weekend. Do you know the feeling of having been really sick for days, and then waking up one morning and not feeling sick? That feeling of “healthy never felt so good”? Well, that was me, Saturday morning. I woke up, and I…
Spent more time in the dentist’s chair than expected, only to discover that things had blown up at work while I was out. I’ve mostly gotten that resolved, but it has been an incredibly rough afternoon, and it looks like I’m going to have to give one guy a royal chewing out. Since he technically…

What a lovely walk down memory lane! Thank you! I was lucky, my Mom loved TOS, so I got to watch them all as a kid. One of my boyfriend "tests" has always been whether or not they enjoyed TOS. If they hadn’t ever watched, I’d turn it on and watch him watching the show. A bad reaction to the show, Shatner bad acting criticisms aside, meant that relationship was a no-go.
