Lights Out
We lost power about an hour and a half ago during a rather nasty electrical storm. After about 45 minutes worth of waiting, I was starting to think about where I could go to keep myself amused when it occurred to me that my poor foster cat was down in her room in the cellar…
YES!!! They turned the request down!
At least that’s one thing that went right today. Doesn’t exactly balance the scales with what went wrong, but I’ll take my victories where I can.

this is the show that turned me onto sci-fi fantasy. i think i’m the only one in my family to have watched it. i used to make my sister laugh when i’d "sing" the closing theme. great article…have to watch "a taste of armageddon" now…
What a lovely walk down memory lane! Thank you! I was lucky, my Mom loved TOS, so I got to watch them all as a kid. One of my boyfriend "tests" has always been whether or not they enjoyed TOS. If they hadn’t ever watched, I’d turn it on and watch him watching the show. A bad reaction to the show, Shatner bad acting criticisms aside, meant that relationship was a no-go.
