Clueless is in the Top Ten?????
It’s been over twelve years. Once in a while I’ll see one of the other cats, sitting silhouetted in a sunlit window or in shadows on a chair, and I think it’s him. You never stop missing them.

subtitled: I felt like writing tonight. Iâve been to Holland, and seen the sights. I experienced Amsterdamâs âRed Light Districtâ, and the architecture of The Hague (which apparently means âthe hedgeâ in literal translation) and Iâve shopped till my companions dropped in Delft. I saw the modern dike system, and bird watched and visited the…
One small cat changes coming home to an empty house to coming home. Pam Brown Clueless Wonder continues to improve. Granted, he’s improving far too slowly for my tastes, but he is improving. His vet, who was a classmate of mine, told me yesterday evening that Clueless was the first of an influx of cats…
I was a good girl Saturday. I hung around an extra hour, making sure that everything was OK at work before I went home and went to bed. No one called me, so I went home feeling like everything had been resolved. Everything was not resolved. A second, related problem reared its ugly head. I’m…
No nibbles on my job applications yet. I hope I haven’t been deluding myself; I was convinced that this course was a quick way to get back into the workplace. It’s only been ten days since I passed the certification though, so I refuse to angst just yet. I’ll save that for next week. I…
I know she’s trying to help, but it’s driving me nuts. Shoulda gone to the library.
I am coming to the frightening conclusion that there is no place in the apartment that Kitten from Hell cannot wreak havok in. It has been my practice to put KfH in the master bathroom at her (and the other cats’) feeding time, when she’s been particularly bad, and when poor Clueless Wonder needs a…
He was such a good cat! I recall checking in on his blog a year or two ago, myself.
A tuxedo cat who has lately been seen in the neighborhood has been hanging out in our small backyard. He’s thin and scrawny, though, not like Clueless, who had obviously been "well cared for". :o) I saw him sitting on one of our patio chairs last week. When he saw me looking out the French doors, he skedaddled; but I saw him see me and run away again a couple of days later. It’s nice and safe back there, with our privacy fence. Poor thing had a scratch on his nose. Also, there are lots of birds and fish and sometimes other critters to look at.
Clueless had a lovely nature. It’s true, you never stop missing them. So many reminders, large and small.
I still miss my little tail-sucker, Kitten, and my bottle baby Taz.
