Clueless is in the Top Ten?????
It’s been over twelve years. Once in a while I’ll see one of the other cats, sitting silhouetted in a sunlit window or in shadows on a chair, and I think it’s him. You never stop missing them.

Well, we haven’t killed each other yet, or even inflicted any lasting scars. He does his own laundry and shopping, and buys me really cool ammonite bookends for wedding presents. I’d say year one was successful, overall. Heading on to Year 2. Happy anniversary, Mr. Prof.
I have a small family. Two sisters, that’s all there is. My parents were both only children. There’s no aunts, no uncles, no cousins. Neither of my sisters had children, and I have no children. No kids, no neices, no nephews, no grandkids. This actually makes for a complication-free lifestyle in many areas of my…
Weird and bad week. The new job is stressful (I have a new appreciation for the foot-soldiers out there in the world of retail and commerce). The loss of Warrior Princess weighs heavily on me. Friends are troubled, and I cannot help. The Prof is reluctantly in his state of origin for a visit with…
This will make a lot more sense if you read yesterday’s entry, but it still won’t make a lot of sense to most people I’m afraid. Comment From: Shay4l Date Posted: 1 Feb 2002 Someone can be interesting and funny and fun to be friendly with, any yet still do the wrong thing. Toying with…
Nothing in the above entry was hypothetical except for the transgressor choking on some Cheesy Poof equivalent. Unfortunately. It takes me longer to back out of a parking spot when someone is vulturing for it because I don’t want to hit them or anything else. I’m far less nervous about backing out when the coast…
I’ve been off the Halobetasol for over a week now. We still don’t know if the new eruptions are spread of the CTCL or if they’re a reaction to the steroid cream. I’ve had several doctor’s appointments yesterday and today, and one was to Dr. Fell. He rebiopsied me in the area of one of…
He was such a good cat! I recall checking in on his blog a year or two ago, myself.
A tuxedo cat who has lately been seen in the neighborhood has been hanging out in our small backyard. He’s thin and scrawny, though, not like Clueless, who had obviously been "well cared for". :o) I saw him sitting on one of our patio chairs last week. When he saw me looking out the French doors, he skedaddled; but I saw him see me and run away again a couple of days later. It’s nice and safe back there, with our privacy fence. Poor thing had a scratch on his nose. Also, there are lots of birds and fish and sometimes other critters to look at.
Clueless had a lovely nature. It’s true, you never stop missing them. So many reminders, large and small.
I still miss my little tail-sucker, Kitten, and my bottle baby Taz.
