Thanks a bunch, Slipperperson!

Which Brady Bunch kid are you most like?
I think I’m beginning to get disgusted with myself.

Of interest to absolutely no one but myself and a few additional misfits around the globe: The release date for the Thunderbirds live action movie has been announced. It’ll be out July, 2004. A trailer has also been released at Working Title Films. It’s going to be awful, but some secret vices you just can’t…
I have a living room that I never use. Its design is fairly formal. You step down about six inches into it, and while it is completely open to the dining room, it is divided from the dining room by two pillars and a railing to either side of the pillars. The picture shows the…
Reality hits on road to hybrid heaven I definitely have to look into that federal tax deduction for purchasing a Prius. Between the car and my medical bills, this is going to be a complicated tax year.
A few weeks after I wrote Never send to know last April, I started going into work about fifteen minutes earlier and I stopped seeing the elderly man and his dog in the mornings. I wasn’t sure how to interpret this, since neither man nor dog moved particularly quickly. Was I just too early to…
Maybe it’s just me, but I like to clean the dishes off the table when a meal is done. Even if we were just going to sit around talking for a while, I’d rather do that without being surrounded by greasy plates with bits of gristle and breadcrumbs on them. I’m not talking about washing…
Got (another) test tonight. It’s early afternoon in the library and I can’t concentrate. The test is theoretically on stuff I should already know from my veterinary training, but there are a few curveballs in it, and a few things I’m not sure how to handle. An example: sclerotic means “hardening”. I know it means…
Thanks for the warning label!
Edward Gorey…i LOVE that. A high school english teacher had posters up all over her room. She was the sponsor for our literary magazine and we used to taunt her by writing "prostate" on her blackboard. For some reason she thought it was a horrible and gross word.
i miss her.
i apologize for being self-absorbed…i sincerely hope you feel better.

LMAO @ THE THIRD MAN!
I’m sorry… But… when we’re watching Billy Elliott with school at the cinema, they showed a preview on The Third Man and it was hilarious… ‘Cause there was all these music and every 5 seconds the commerical said "The Third Man". *Giggles*

Glad the dentist wasn’t bad. Hope the lump turns out similarly. Meanwhile, the garlic steak might have contributed to the festivities. I was just reading an issue of Redbook yesterday that recommends garlic for, er, encouraging that sort of thing. They also said that women should wear pumpkin and lavendar to, um, further encourage that sort of thing. Apparently it increases male blood flow to a certain location by 44%. :O
I’m trying to get caught up on all your entries! I hope you get through to the Dr soon as that lump doesn’t sound good. Take care and hope you feel better soon.
So not only is garlic good for the immune system and keeping vampires away, but now we learn it’s an aphrodesiac too?! Thanks Moonridden! (It’s also great at fighting colds). Garlic for everyone!
