YES!!! They turned the request down!
At least that’s one thing that went right today. Doesn’t exactly balance the scales with what went wrong, but I’ll take my victories where I can.
Wooly Bear
I was in a rush, heading from my office to a side door in the main building that opened to a room full of work waiting for me to attend to. There’s been a lot of construction going on in this section of the building, and the workers had just today dumped a couple of…
Insomnia and Two Towers.
Still not sleeping well – this is starting to get really old fast. I had better luck on the sofa than in bed though, as it’s easier for me to prop myself up to relieve some of the distension. Thirty-six hours until I get tapped. Not that I’m counting the minutes or anything. Saw Two…
3:02 a.m. – It’s too quiet.
The kitten sleeps in my lap, making a noise between gurgling and purring. I begin to worry she’s developing an upper respiratory tract infection. This is truly an abnormal noise. Then again, this is an abnormal kitten. I hold her chin, rubbing it slightly, and she yawns into my hand. At least one of us…

Bell flowers (at least the ones I’m familiar with) are far more delicate than these things. The buds on…
Bravo! The Swedish Chef cracks me up every time.
It reminds me of when I took high school band trips on the school bus and we’d all sing our parts together to the pieces we were working on.
It didn’t sound as good as the muppets, though. 😀
LOL! I miss the Muppets.
Animal! A – ni – mal!
I was in band in high school, along with all the other high school geeks. We played Stars and Stripes Forever and in a fashion very similar to this we would sing our instruments’ parts on bus rides. It was fun and I can still do it, although never in the same range as the piccolo I usually played for this song. But the sousaphone players couldn’t sing in their instruments’ range, either. I was lucky to have been a versatile player. Sometimes I played flute or piccolo and sometimes I played one of the saxophones. Heck, I even played drums or glockenspiel on occasion. It just depended on what we needed at the moment.
Oh for the old Muppet Show days….
