Thanks to MoonriddenGirl for providing the link to Animal Totem Quiz. Unlike last week’s religion quiz, I am not prone to take this one seriously, but it was still fun to do. Your totem animal is the EAGLE. You may find that these regal birds appear in your dreams. If they haven’t yet, look out…
The Ex appeared at my apartment last night as the very soul of puncuality. Sure enough, he had a a fairly large bag of mail addressed to me still going to the house. Virtually all of it was junk mail. Some of it was financial stuff that I know I already sent an address change…
I had dinner with the guy who works in my MIS department and his wife last night. They’re fun people, and I had a good time. I suspect it was a “pity dinner” on their part; they see me as a lost waif with no life outside the office. This made it hard, since I…
The hummingbirds have made their return, although their nest is definitely history. I’ve spied them in the garden among the Liatris and Physostegia. The bees and butterflies all seem to prefer the Liatris, but I’ve only seen the hummingbirds at the Physostegia so far. Since the plants are a scant two to three feet from…

That cat has the right idea on a snow day – curl up and stay warm. And order your humans to fix some (cat-friendly) hot chocolate.
Definitely a snow day for you. Love your kitty! What’s its name? A boy or a girl? I have a male cat named Bing Crosby. We have some snow here in Wisconsin today.

ehh.. being a smarty pants?
I can’t help it.
But on the other hand, we won’t see a drop of rain and our brains will be frying all summer long, so it’s a trade off.
What I wouldn’t give for a nice thunderstorm once a month in the summer…. sigh….
But I get flowers in February.
