Snowday: An Update In Pictures
I spent a good hunk of yesterday evening listening to different internet radio stations. I was in a mood to listen to music while The Prof was out teaching his night class, but I didn’t want to listen to anything tried and true. I might live near a major metropolitan area, but most of the…
Why is it that the weather only acts up when I refuse to take the weather forecast seriously? If they forecast half a foot of snow and I pay heed, then the only way you could actually measure six inches of snow is if you took every single snowflake that fell and stack them one…
Would you like my mask? Would you like my mirror?Cries the man in the shadowing hood. While I was driving to the Polish Festival on Sunday, a rather nice looking (albeit young) dude in a drop-top red and sporty something-or-other passed me rather slowly. ehh.. being a smarty pants?
I can’t help it.
But on the other hand, we won’t see a drop of rain and our brains will be frying all summer long, so it’s a trade off.
What I wouldn’t give for a nice thunderstorm once a month in the summer…. sigh….
