Snowday: An Update In Pictures
● I am divorced. In retrospect, I probably should have never married. The marriage lasted nearly 21 years, but endurance is no measurement of quality. At the point I’m at in my life now, I think it fair to say I never intend to marry again. I respect anyone who has never married by choice….
It looks like we have The Professor’s aunt and uncle coming to stay with us the weekend of Feb. 22nd. They stayed with us for a weekend last year, and while I enjoy their company, I was totally fried by the end of their stay. What to do with four adults and three cats in…
I owe an update. It’s been difficult to type with my arm in pain, and I’ve been busy with the usual stuff (I did make it to writing class last night). I’ll try to get something more substantial updated this evening. And Justaman, I’ve not forgotten your question. I promise to get back to you…
A binary event: This will be my 1111th entry here. Why that should be significant is beyond me, but it amuses, and so I will note the occasion. Last night I was awakened from a sound sleep by one of the worst calf cramps I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been experiencing some minor…
One reason we admire cats is for their proficiency in one-upmanship. They always seem to come out on top, no matter what they are doing, or pretend they do. Barbara Webster I’ve been sitting at my desk worrying all morning. Clueless Wonder seems to be quite over whatever kitty flu he caught, but ACfH vomitted…
It has been a trying day in the office. I swear that both The Mouth and Minion are on time-release formulas. Just when their effects begin to wear off they suddenly release a whole new dose of themselves. For anyone who thinks badly of me, this entry should pretty much ice their cake for them….
All those things in your window sills….
so whimsical.
I like them very much. All of ’em!
The kitties know how to be comfy and enjoy the outside from the inside.
I agree with Yetzira about the whimsey factor. Charming.
That’s one comfy looking cat
That cat has the right idea on a snow day – curl up and stay warm. And order your humans to fix some (cat-friendly) hot chocolate.
Definitely a snow day for you. Love your kitty! What’s its name? A boy or a girl? I have a male cat named Bing Crosby. We have some snow here in Wisconsin today.

ehh.. being a smarty pants?
I can’t help it.
But on the other hand, we won’t see a drop of rain and our brains will be frying all summer long, so it’s a trade off.
What I wouldn’t give for a nice thunderstorm once a month in the summer…. sigh….
But I get flowers in February.
🙂
