Part of my Gumby Collection
I suppose eventually someone around here is going to point out how unprofessional it is to have these hanging in my office.

Cold Hands, Warm Heart Well, that was going to be the name of today’s entry. Two things got in the way of my being able to use such a clever little title. The temperature is supposed to go up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit, setting a new local record for this date. And maintenance has apparently…
I’ve got tickets for Fellowship of the Rings!!!!!!!!! Opening day, December 19th, 8:00 p.m. show. YES! Dances off to bed.
Yes, the saga of the unwashed dishes continues. To understand exactly what happened, you need to know that The Professor and I each have a cat, and both cats are overweight. I inherited my cat from my mother, and he came to me tipping (or should I say “squashing”) the scales at 19 pounds. He’s…
Damn but the days pass quickly now. I live mostly in a constant state of fear or frenzy. The job, as poor paying as it is, demands much. During the course of my seven and a half or eight hour day (depending on which day of the week it is) that I get to sit…
It’s 5:00. The moon is gibbous. I have no clue if its waxing or waning. The cats are scattered throughout the apartment, curled up in their respective favorite nooks. This means, of course, that the kitten is napping on the fresh laundry. There are dishes in the sink. I couldn’t be bothered. The alarm clock…
I got an interesting note yesterday from the virtual/real-life friend who spotted my diary over here. He believed I had started a new diary over here and wanted to know if I’d let him read it. As some of you may recall, his discovery of my diary over here on DD was what prompted me…
Charley Pride? Far out…
i thought about training my Daisy…but she shows no interest. i firmly believe you *can* train cats, the problem is that they are not as easily manipulated as dogs. That, and cats just don’t care.
your training sessions with the cats made me smile! lol.
i got a cat yesterday, myself–one made of wood. it will always be sitting.
sorry about your aches 🙁
yeah! cat’s seem to love that tartar control pounce. my mina comes when i ask her to…your CW reminds me of her.
So you’re coming to Nashville! I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for you – even though I’ve only seen you from the eyes up! Anyway, I had to laugh at your saying you’d have to check out the "finer local restaurants"… we’re not known for our great restaurants… but there are a few good ones. My favorite is The Medditeranean Cuisine on 21st Avenue South (just south of downtown). Also good is Calypso Cafe (in 2 locations). August Moon is okay for Chinese food; it’s in Green Hills (about a 10 minute drive from downtown). If you’re staying in town, a good one down there is Big River Grille & Brewer Works on Broadway (that’s where S and I had our very first date!). Hope you have a good time!
Sugar and Chocolate??? How did I end up with Beer and Vanilla LOL!!!
I have a friend that goes to a vet conference every year. I’m thinking it was hmmm on the East Coast last year and Hawaii the year before. Same conference? They always turn it into a sight seeing trip and seem to really enjoy themselves.

It’s HPS alright?
Geez, what would a Space Cadet know about diseases, anyway? Eh? Eh?
Hmpf!
I have never heard of Sugar Gliders before. I want a pet like that! With wings 🙂 yay!
Oh, and I wanted to have ‘cur’ as my username, because it’s always been my online nickname, but for some reason I couldn’t have it, so I chose NooNoo. I got the silly nick at Angels in the Night chat :). You can call me cur, if you prefer. Most people do :).
Love,
cur
sugar gliders as pets? i didn’t know that.

Hope you are feeling better. I enjoyed reading your entry today.

I was alway envious of Gumby because he had a horse and I didn’t. Cool collection!
