Part of my Gumby Collection
I suppose eventually someone around here is going to point out how unprofessional it is to have these hanging in my office.

The Professor has finally brought himself almost completely around to a diurnal schedule. He went to bed an hour earlier than I did, and awoke an hour earlier than I did. This is a huge change from just two weeks earlier when his schedule had him going to sleep at six in the morning and…
Iâve become quite settled in my jobless routine. Which is why it was so unsettling to read in the national news about problems at a sister corporation to my former employer. The problem is related to some of the things I once had some peripheral input to, and itâs a big enough fiasco that my…
The Professor and I have taken to playing Trivial Pursuit, Genus III, in the evenings. An ignominious defeat we suffered against another couple over the Memorial Day weekend brought the TP bug to the surface again. We’ve played three times in the past week. I trounced him in one game, he trounced me in another,…
Yesterday I briefly feared that what allimom had predicted might well come to pass. My arm was feeling much better; if its rate of recovery continued unchecked, I would have been perfectly healthy by tomorrow morning. This afternoon I can safely predict that this isn’t going to be a problem. The current temptation is to…
Cat from Hell met up with her first up close and personal encounter with Nature this evening. I knew something was wrong when she wouldn’t respond to the call of the dinner bowl. Investigation revealed a Cat too engrossed at the balcony door to be willing to break her rapt gaze for something as mundane…
Charley Pride? Far out…
i thought about training my Daisy…but she shows no interest. i firmly believe you *can* train cats, the problem is that they are not as easily manipulated as dogs. That, and cats just don’t care.
your training sessions with the cats made me smile! lol.
i got a cat yesterday, myself–one made of wood. it will always be sitting.
sorry about your aches 🙁
yeah! cat’s seem to love that tartar control pounce. my mina comes when i ask her to…your CW reminds me of her.
So you’re coming to Nashville! I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for you – even though I’ve only seen you from the eyes up! Anyway, I had to laugh at your saying you’d have to check out the "finer local restaurants"… we’re not known for our great restaurants… but there are a few good ones. My favorite is The Medditeranean Cuisine on 21st Avenue South (just south of downtown). Also good is Calypso Cafe (in 2 locations). August Moon is okay for Chinese food; it’s in Green Hills (about a 10 minute drive from downtown). If you’re staying in town, a good one down there is Big River Grille & Brewer Works on Broadway (that’s where S and I had our very first date!). Hope you have a good time!
Sugar and Chocolate??? How did I end up with Beer and Vanilla LOL!!!
I have a friend that goes to a vet conference every year. I’m thinking it was hmmm on the East Coast last year and Hawaii the year before. Same conference? They always turn it into a sight seeing trip and seem to really enjoy themselves.

It’s HPS alright?
Geez, what would a Space Cadet know about diseases, anyway? Eh? Eh?
Hmpf!
I have never heard of Sugar Gliders before. I want a pet like that! With wings 🙂 yay!
Oh, and I wanted to have ‘cur’ as my username, because it’s always been my online nickname, but for some reason I couldn’t have it, so I chose NooNoo. I got the silly nick at Angels in the Night chat :). You can call me cur, if you prefer. Most people do :).
Love,
cur
sugar gliders as pets? i didn’t know that.

Hope you are feeling better. I enjoyed reading your entry today.

I was alway envious of Gumby because he had a horse and I didn’t. Cool collection!
