Part of my Gumby Collection
I suppose eventually someone around here is going to point out how unprofessional it is to have these hanging in my office.

Gads, I can’t remember the last time I saw Mary Poppins. I do remember the first time – I was eight years old and my whole family went to the drive-in movie. I remember in particular Dick van Dyke’s penguin dance and the bird woman scene. ABC Family is playing it now, and while I…
I know Fridays are supposed to be a good thing, but they really don’t count until quitting time, and I’m a long way from there it seems. First of all – thanks for your comment yesterday ADM. It forces me to re-evaluate how I look at a few things. I’m going to chew over your…
I’m getting emails with the subject line “Returned mail: User unknown” from [email protected]. The strange thing is that I’ve never sent email to the addresses that are coming back to my attention. The email has attachments to it. That’s to be expected on returned email alerts. It’s also to be expected if you’ve been sent…
ItΓ’ΒΒs just that time of yearWhen we push ourselves aheadWe push ourselves ahead – Dar Williams, “End of Summer” This is the window that gives me my first view of the outside world each morning. It’s a northerly view, and through it the first rays of day light stream in from the right and incoming…
They simply announced that they were going to play a single from some group or another’s soon to be released album. I really wasn’t listening that closely. I can’ explain it. Perhaps thirty seconds into the song the breath was stolen from my chest and I was desperately trying to remember who the hell they…
Thanks to the TexanElf for help with the title. As of last Thursday, we had very good response to the new medication (Fluconazole) combined with twice weekly bathing in Malaseb shampoo and twice daily application of Miconazole 2% cream to the affected regions. I scheduled with the vet to take LGS in for the first…
Charley Pride? Far out…
i thought about training my Daisy…but she shows no interest. i firmly believe you *can* train cats, the problem is that they are not as easily manipulated as dogs. That, and cats just don’t care.
your training sessions with the cats made me smile! lol.
i got a cat yesterday, myself–one made of wood. it will always be sitting.
sorry about your aches π
yeah! cat’s seem to love that tartar control pounce. my mina comes when i ask her to…your CW reminds me of her.
So you’re coming to Nashville! I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for you – even though I’ve only seen you from the eyes up! Anyway, I had to laugh at your saying you’d have to check out the "finer local restaurants"… we’re not known for our great restaurants… but there are a few good ones. My favorite is The Medditeranean Cuisine on 21st Avenue South (just south of downtown). Also good is Calypso Cafe (in 2 locations). August Moon is okay for Chinese food; it’s in Green Hills (about a 10 minute drive from downtown). If you’re staying in town, a good one down there is Big River Grille & Brewer Works on Broadway (that’s where S and I had our very first date!). Hope you have a good time!
Sugar and Chocolate??? How did I end up with Beer and Vanilla LOL!!!
I have a friend that goes to a vet conference every year. I’m thinking it was hmmm on the East Coast last year and Hawaii the year before. Same conference? They always turn it into a sight seeing trip and seem to really enjoy themselves.

It’s HPS alright?
Geez, what would a Space Cadet know about diseases, anyway? Eh? Eh?
Hmpf!
I have never heard of Sugar Gliders before. I want a pet like that! With wings π yay!
Oh, and I wanted to have ‘cur’ as my username, because it’s always been my online nickname, but for some reason I couldn’t have it, so I chose NooNoo. I got the silly nick at Angels in the Night chat :). You can call me cur, if you prefer. Most people do :).
Love,
cur
sugar gliders as pets? i didn’t know that.
