Crap.
I get to add one more condition to my personal list of “been there, done that”. My A1C came back as clearly diabetic.
This isn’t funny anymore.

The vows were exchanged in the presence of family and friends, and I was privileged to be among the latter. I particularly liked the vows. “For richer or poorer, through sickness and health, for the rest of your lives” was stripped down to the barest of bones. Take a piece of writing, and start removing…
*sigh* I feel like somebody’s raining on my parade. Fury22 and doppelganger have both added music to their diaries. This means I can no longer risk opening those at work. (Before anyone tells me to simply turn off my sound, I need to leave it on because I need incoming mail alerts. Not only that,…
… that I didn’t feel like wasting time on the computer over the weekend. Do you know the feeling of having been really sick for days, and then waking up one morning and not feeling sick? That feeling of “healthy never felt so good”? Well, that was me, Saturday morning. I woke up, and I…
The Mojave tell a story of the earliest days when the First People lived in perpetual darkness deep within the earth. Desperate for a better life, they sent a hummingbird out to find light. Searching the cracks and crevices of their underground world, the hummingbird finally finds a difficult, twisting way to climb to the…

The Prof and I have been looking since the beginning of August for a monarch chrysalis. We’ve been investigating all the…
I decided to take Friday off, so that I can have a three day weekend to get away with The Prof. Still don’t know where we’re going (not far) or what we’re doing (not expensive), but I either need to blow steam or blow up. I’d love to go down to DC for a few…
Well shit
Crap is right. Ugh!
This one I can sympathize with. Sorry.
dislike!
I’m so sorry this has happened. As we age it becomes more likely, and you did just have a birthday. 😉 Happy belated birthday, my friend. In spite of the diabetes. I’ve been living with it for 13 years now. But I’m lucky. I can eat whatever I want and still have an A1C under six. Hopefully some Metformin will straighten you out and you won’t have to mess around with insulin.
((((hugs))))
Well, sh*tinskis! I, too, will remain hopeful pills will do the trick. It seems to work for Mom.
