Crap!
Plans to reap what I sowed failed to come to fruition. Turns out the harvest had some weevils in it. Looks like you’ll all just have to wait in suspense a bit longer.
As for me, I’m sitting on pins and needles.

Well, we did have lima beans for dinner Friday, along with a couple of small steaks I’d bought on sale and then left to languish in the back of my freezer. It’s a tiny freezer compartment, and I have no idea how I could have managed to forget anything in there, but apparently I managed…

An update from Another Life Lesson (this will open in a separate window if you want to reread it). There are three main characters in this play: the girl who posted to our forum (“PerilousPauline”), the guy she jilted (“DearJohn”), and a female friend of the guy’s (“NoseyNancy”, who is the “stranger” refered to in…
The paracentesis did not go as well today as I had hoped. We only got 5.5 liters out of me. There was definitely more fluid in my abdomen, but we couldn’t get it to move into the pocket where the needle was inserted, so we couldn’t drain it. My bleeding times have greatly increased, and…
In fact, it was just about at this exact moment that I was unconscious in the ER. Hard to believe how much has happened since then.
The Move becomes imminent. I will make arrangements this week for computer access at the new digs. I will also be shutting down computer access here within the week. I may disappear somewhat abruptly. I’m not sure when I’ll be back. A talk with the Socialist last night inspired new questions within me as to…
I bought a deLint book, by the way. I haven’t read it yet (finished the Huff series and then indulging in Nevada Barr’s latest paperbook), but I aim to next. I’ll let you know which one it was when I’m done. For a lit master, I’m surprisingly good at forgetting titles….
A cliffhanger,,,

Thanks for posting it.
i like the song!
What’s that? You have a rash?
You rash and impulsive??
Doesnt seem like you, so I wait in suspense.

What an awesome poem. The title reminds me of when I was a kid, camping out with a friend in the back yard and shining our flashlights up at the moon.
I’m going to go bask in those memories now.
