Crap!
Plans to reap what I sowed failed to come to fruition. Turns out the harvest had some weevils in it. Looks like you’ll all just have to wait in suspense a bit longer.
As for me, I’m sitting on pins and needles.

I love lazy Saturdays. I love being the only one up and awake. I love watching drowsing cats sunning themselves in the checkerboard patterns of sunlight on the kitchen floor during their period of post-prandial morning bliss. I love that initial buzz from a really good cup of coffee that opens my eyes up to…
I got an email yesterday afternoon announcing that Dar Williams was giving a concert in the area on December 4th (Saturday) at 8:00. I immediately bought two tickets by email. I guess I should have told the Socialist about that, too.
Daffy, did you know I hate Pokeymons, or was that just a lucky hit on your part. Of course, since you mentioned me in the entry, I had to do the test. The madness stops here, though. What Kind Of Pokemon Are You? My other matches, in order, were: # 2 MEWTWO # 3 EEVEE…
I have a new plan:Give test answers in Haiku.Bonus points for style?
I got the updated bill for my new car’s insurance today. My rates went up only $33/half year. I figure that isn’t too bad at all. I still haven’t heard from The Socialist’s agent, who I left a request with to get a quote. Supposedly I can do much better with his insurance. I’m not…
So much to catch up on. Dozens of diary update notifications I haven’t yet been able to respond to. And quite a few items to update myself as well. I’m feeling a tad overwhelmed at the moment. OK, for starters, I caught this one over at MoonriddenGirl’s page. I’ve pretty much sworn off quizzes, but…
I bought a deLint book, by the way. I haven’t read it yet (finished the Huff series and then indulging in Nevada Barr’s latest paperbook), but I aim to next. I’ll let you know which one it was when I’m done. For a lit master, I’m surprisingly good at forgetting titles….
A cliffhanger,,,
I like the image, too. 🙂 For me it evokes the idea that present concerns can seem so much larger than they are. When we’re using it, a flashlight can seem more clear and luminous than the moon, but it really isn’t–nothing like comparing the two to bring that home.
Thanks for posting it.
i like the song!
What’s that? You have a rash?
You rash and impulsive??
Doesnt seem like you, so I wait in suspense.
🙂

What an awesome poem. The title reminds me of when I was a kid, camping out with a friend in the back yard and shining our flashlights up at the moon.
I’m going to go bask in those memories now.

I am going to go insane until I know what you are reaping.
