Crap!
Plans to reap what I sowed failed to come to fruition. Turns out the harvest had some weevils in it. Looks like you’ll all just have to wait in suspense a bit longer.
As for me, I’m sitting on pins and needles.

I saw the first episode of Torchwood: Miracle Day this morning (taped from last night). I was a bit worried about it, since the BBC show has teamed with STARZ and I’d heard they’d Americanized the show a bit. Since Torchwood is a remote spin-off from Dr. Who, and since Dr. Who has a large…
Listening to Gene Shay’s Sunday night folk show on WXPN while torching some soup for dinner. Quiet end to the weekend. I’ve tried to get multiple glucose readings on Satan’s Little Fart Cloud today, but I also had to bath her, which I’m hoping is why the afternoon readings are a little high. After this…
Saw this in Moonridden’s diary. Being the test taking sucker I am, I went to the site straight-away. Turns out that, like MR, I too am David. Bummer. I really, really, really wanted to be Robot from Lost in Space. Or maybe Orac from Blake’s Seven. He was obnoxious, but at least he had attitude.
Got a hit on my site meter from Lucasfilms last night, about 11:00 my time. I was able to confirm using the IP#, but the referring source and pages viewed were blocked. I’ll admit to wondering why somebody working at a prestigious outfit like that would still be using Netscape instead of the superior Internet…
● I am divorced. In retrospect, I probably should have never married. The marriage lasted nearly 21 years, but endurance is no measurement of quality. At the point I’m at in my life now, I think it fair to say I never intend to marry again. I respect anyone who has never married by choice….
Tomorrow marks eight weeks that I’ve worked at The Pharmacy. I’m through the initial “I’m never going to keep this all straight in my head” phase, although there’s still a helluvalot more that I don’t know than what I do know. They’ve hired a third part-time tech for “flu shot season,” which started a few…
I bought a deLint book, by the way. I haven’t read it yet (finished the Huff series and then indulging in Nevada Barr’s latest paperbook), but I aim to next. I’ll let you know which one it was when I’m done. For a lit master, I’m surprisingly good at forgetting titles….
A cliffhanger,,,
I like the image, too. 🙂 For me it evokes the idea that present concerns can seem so much larger than they are. When we’re using it, a flashlight can seem more clear and luminous than the moon, but it really isn’t–nothing like comparing the two to bring that home.
Thanks for posting it.
i like the song!
What’s that? You have a rash?
You rash and impulsive??
Doesnt seem like you, so I wait in suspense.
🙂

What an awesome poem. The title reminds me of when I was a kid, camping out with a friend in the back yard and shining our flashlights up at the moon.
I’m going to go bask in those memories now.

Whaaaaaaaaa
I am going to go insane until I know what you are reaping.
sitting on pins and needles is right!
