Today I turn six. For those of you interested in full details I refer you to last year’s entry on thisToday I Turn Five. I’ll provide a Reader’s Digest version for anyone who has better things to do than dredge up my past entries, though. On March 21, 1997 I collapsed at school and was…
I hadn’t realized how tricky keeping two diaries on DD was going to be. I’m trying to be careful about not posting to the two at simultaneous times. I doubt that any members of the virtual community I keep the diary for are spending much time reading any diaries other than our own, but there’s…
Illness takes its toll on even the best relationships. I am not the person I was this time last year. I don’t have the stamina I once did. I don’t have the patience I once did. I find that I often have less to talk about than I once did; it seems pointless somehow to…
I have heretofore liked to think that I’m a big proponent of “I may not like what you have to say, but I’ll defend to my death your right to say it”. Recently I’ve been given cause to think more deeply about that sentiment. Do I defend to the death your right to make religious,…
OK, I’ve calmed down a bit from last night. Yes, The Professor was talking out of extreme frustration. But he is one of the worst time-management people I have ever met. “Time” for him is a superfluous concept, and clocks exist only to make his life miserable. More often than not he has no concept…

Be brave. be proud. Flaunt your efforts. What’s the worst that could happen, a snarky comment?
Oh Bravo! Oh, well done!
If you don’t get an A, the teacher is a dolt!
Write On!
That’s very good – and I really mean that. It explains the mysterious behaviour I’ve observed for years 🙂
I’m sure Katie has a good home, and will lord it over her new servants.
Oh, bravo! What a clever ending, with a twist I didn’t see coming!
We saw Shrek 2 Sunday night, as well, and laughed loudly and frequently. My favorite moment was the hairball scene. The way the artists drew that sudden lack of focus and the expression on the cat’s face was priceless.
I wondered if you’d have trouble giving up the kitten. I also wonder how Kimi will cope, after six weeks, was it? of cat sitting. I wonder if she’ll end up going out and getting another Abbyssinian.
I’m so glad the kitten has found a home! Even cooler you will be able to keep track of her.
As for the other entry, I love it! Very well done.
I forgot!! Thank you for dedicating it to Jinco. Ashley and I were looking at pictures of him last night. He is sorely missed.
Re your FOE: Well Done!! 🙂
Re finding kitten a good home: Well Done!! 🙂
Three stars for Salamander *** 😉
Now THAT story really rocks. Good work! 🙂
I thought of Dekyi this morning, and wondered how you were all getting along.
I really hope she becomes an important part of her new family.
I love your short story, and the dedication to Jinco touched me.
