My Christmas cactus is getting ready to bloom for Easter. I don’t know who is more confused, me or the cactus. In answer to one of yesterday’s comments, nope, I am not vaccinated against Q-fever. Coxiella burneti is on the chart, but isn’t too great a concern with the animals I work with, all of…
Slipperman, I knew when I was taking that quiz I wasn’t going to get what you got. There is something very, very wrong with that quiz. Take the World of Darkness Quizby David J Rust Vampire Score: 6 WereWolf Score: 11 Mage Score: 13 Wraith Score: -8 Changeling Score: 10 WereWolf?????
Sometimes, when the problems of the world are too big to grasp, something comes up where you can make a difference. My check is smaller than I’d like, but it will go out tonight. Conjoined Twins’ Surgery May Be Delayed By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Filed at 2:55 p.m. ET DALLAS (AP) Surgery to separate conjoined…
Or is it just me locked out? NooNoo – great entry! You might have had to look up some words, but you got them just right when you wrote the essay!
Yahoo!*Hot*jobs. JuJu . SimplyHired. Monster.com. USA Jobs. I know âem all, and a few score others. You can spend hours bouncing like a ping-pong ball from site to site, looking for that elusive will o’ the wisp job. (Feel free to sing title to the tune of “When the Swallows Come Back to Capistrano”.) I remarked to the Prof several times this summer that with the old oak gone out front (see entry from January 17, 2011: Like An Oak On The Wire regarding that sad day) the squirrels on our property seemed…
Be brave. be proud. Flaunt your efforts. What’s the worst that could happen, a snarky comment?
Oh Bravo! Oh, well done!
If you don’t get an A, the teacher is a dolt!
Write On!
That’s very good – and I really mean that. It explains the mysterious behaviour I’ve observed for years 🙂
I’m sure Katie has a good home, and will lord it over her new servants.
Oh, bravo! What a clever ending, with a twist I didn’t see coming!
We saw Shrek 2 Sunday night, as well, and laughed loudly and frequently. My favorite moment was the hairball scene. The way the artists drew that sudden lack of focus and the expression on the cat’s face was priceless.
I wondered if you’d have trouble giving up the kitten. I also wonder how Kimi will cope, after six weeks, was it? of cat sitting. I wonder if she’ll end up going out and getting another Abbyssinian.
I’m so glad the kitten has found a home! Even cooler you will be able to keep track of her.
As for the other entry, I love it! Very well done.
I forgot!! Thank you for dedicating it to Jinco. Ashley and I were looking at pictures of him last night. He is sorely missed.
Re your FOE: Well Done!! 🙂
Re finding kitten a good home: Well Done!! 🙂
Three stars for Salamander *** 😉
Now THAT story really rocks. Good work! 🙂
I thought of Dekyi this morning, and wondered how you were all getting along.
I really hope she becomes an important part of her new family.
I love your short story, and the dedication to Jinco touched me.
