It would appear that I continue to do quite well, according to my transplant coordinator. My incision is healing very nicely, I’ve lost fifteen pounds of superfluous water weight since last Tuesday, and all my bloodwork from last week looks good. I get to skip a check-up next week (though I still need to get…
hi folks. this is a friend of Pali’s that has just finished visiting with her. she is doing and looking extremely well and wanted me to convey her many thanks to you all for your prayers and well wishes. she’s in good spirits and was being prepared to move to another room. she’s getting excellent…
*Ding dong ding dong, Christmas bells are ringing!” Well, bells can ring, but I’m closer to wringing. What I’ll be wringing will be entirely dependent upon what is stupid enough to come close enough for me to get my hands around it. There. I got up and shut the damned thing off mid-“lovely chorus or…
… a 13 year-old hispanic boy lost his life after being trapped in a house fire that maimed his brother and destroyed his family’s home. His mother found the courage to make an impossible decision under heart breaking conditions. Remember that boy today.
Nothing sagged, nothing busted, nothing etched. Not bad for a first try. The first batch of beads through the kiln. Effetre White with blue/purple twisted dots melted in. Effetre clear wrapped with Effetre Grass vine, melted into tubewith raised twist-flower unknown light blue. My white fish with the Nyx dots that developed a neat silverline…
Can it be that spring is actually here? Today was an unseasonable 80+ lovely Fahrenheit degrees. I opened the windows, and the cats were immediately part of the situation. The Little Black Shit actually got some quality time outside with The Prof. The robins are doing their territorial dancing, the cardinals have built a nest…
Be brave. be proud. Flaunt your efforts. What’s the worst that could happen, a snarky comment?
Oh Bravo! Oh, well done!
If you don’t get an A, the teacher is a dolt!
Write On!
That’s very good – and I really mean that. It explains the mysterious behaviour I’ve observed for years 🙂
I’m sure Katie has a good home, and will lord it over her new servants.
Oh, bravo! What a clever ending, with a twist I didn’t see coming!
We saw Shrek 2 Sunday night, as well, and laughed loudly and frequently. My favorite moment was the hairball scene. The way the artists drew that sudden lack of focus and the expression on the cat’s face was priceless.
I wondered if you’d have trouble giving up the kitten. I also wonder how Kimi will cope, after six weeks, was it? of cat sitting. I wonder if she’ll end up going out and getting another Abbyssinian.
I’m so glad the kitten has found a home! Even cooler you will be able to keep track of her.
As for the other entry, I love it! Very well done.
I forgot!! Thank you for dedicating it to Jinco. Ashley and I were looking at pictures of him last night. He is sorely missed.
Re your FOE: Well Done!! 🙂
Re finding kitten a good home: Well Done!! 🙂
Three stars for Salamander *** 😉
Now THAT story really rocks. Good work! 🙂
I thought of Dekyi this morning, and wondered how you were all getting along.
I really hope she becomes an important part of her new family.
I love your short story, and the dedication to Jinco touched me.
