The new place.
A separate bathroom to lock each cat into when they get out of hand. A walk-in closet. Large storage area. A private entrance. MY OWN WASHER AND DRYER! Is this not beautiful to behold?

Quarter to ten. The Professor is still abed. I opened the blinds in the bedroom to the window over the dresser, and the Warrior Princess now lies on top of the dresser, basking and generally being Queen (or at least, Princess) of all she surveys. The Clueless Wonder has received breakfast and is now curled…
Serendipity is weird. And yes, this ties back to that “What tree are you this morning?” question that I’ve been playing with for four days now. Or is it five? I’ve lost track. I hit upon the answer this morning. Out of the blue, I knew what the right answer was, and why. But then…
Daffy, did you know I hate Pokeymons, or was that just a lucky hit on your part. Of course, since you mentioned me in the entry, I had to do the test. The madness stops here, though. What Kind Of Pokemon Are You? My other matches, in order, were: # 2 MEWTWO # 3 EEVEE…
It was a busy weekend. At least, the part of the weekend that I didn’t spend in bed with a migraine was busy. Since last I posted, I’ve had to give an official rebuke to the Minion (NOT related to the friggin Christmas Carols, unfortunately), attended a fund raising committee for the cat shelter I…
I have no idea what’s up with the first of the two pictures I embedded in yesterday’s entry. It showed up fine when I first did the update. It turned into a broken link sometime after I made the entry, though. When I display the entry on my home computer, it still shows fine. But…
At least for me it is. Big Chain Pharmacy Store is open, and I know they’ve scheduled at least one tech to work. It would actually be a great day to have a shift on, since it’s the third day in a row that most doctors’ offices would be closed, meaning at this point there’d…
I used to have a friend who would go looking for baby birds every spring then raise them. She could never understand why they would get caught by a cat as soon as she released them. She finally figured it all out and just left them be!

baby bird time, kitten time, and the increase in road kill time. i love spring, and i hate spring at the same time.
The Picture of Dorian Gray, I haven’t seen that movie in so long it would be new to me.
I love old movies. I just rented ”The Quiet Man” (John Wayne, MaureenO’Hara)
”Leave Her to Heaven”
and ”Laura”
*munches popcorn*
VCR…great invention =)
My favorite part: I was wondering why there were other birds behind me, screaming at me too….
Oh I love that movie! I read the book too… very interesting moral to it. Enjoy! Oh and congrats on the apartment!
congratulations on the apartment, sal!! the bird story was oddly amusing. i remember poking a fat bird with a stick as a child because it wasn’t flying or reacting to our presence (though it was alive. seemed to just be chilling) i don’t remember it screaming, though. it might have been in the same situation.
There was a band back home called Dorion Gray.
I can’t remember if they were any good… I’m sure the movie is better! 🙂
I love how you know the name of plants! I need to buy gardening for dummies, if there is such a thing. I feel so inept when people start talking plants.

Wow! I’m jealous as hell!
Looks great!
in case you were wondering, no, I didn’t read Shay’s comment before I left mine…
It’s massive! But does it have an automatic garage door opener?
Your own washer and dryer adjacent to the bedroom where most of the laundry comes from….BONUS!!!

Nice house, looks spacious, big, whoooo!! I cant wait to get a place of my own. Now I know I’ll regret saying that when I do,lol!
Love,Alaina
Wow, look at all that room! The layout looks really nice. Our family of five went from 800 square feet to 1800 sq feet five years ago. It was great to stretch out, only problem was that we did not have enough furniture to spread out with us.
It’s gorgeous!! 😀
That looks like a big apartment!! You’re lucky :).
It is a beautiful thing. I don’t believe I could ever go back to communal laundry. It’s so much easier to toss it in and forget it in the dryer for a day or two….
Your own washer and dryer. One of life’s best luxuries!
