Kitten from Hell update.
This was supposed to be a story about how KfH broke the carrot nose off of my brand new Dr. Snowman Christmas tree ornament. The ornament that I’d bought less than an hour before, that I was going to tweak into a VMD snowman. The one that I’d left in the bag on the table…
Then how do they make their toast?
MooriddenGirl’s entry yesterday One for the Record Books had me smiling to myself for a good long time. Her son is definitely lining himself up to be the next Douglas Adams. It’s a short entry, and one you should definitely read for yourself, but the gist it that her kindergarten-aged son has discovered that spiders…
Where’s Waldoette?
Last night, we suddenly observed a lot of color developing in the chyrsalis all at once. In a matter of a few hours, we went from green to compressed butterfly. As I write this, Waldoette is busy finishing pumping up her wings and drying out. She’s definitely female. By the time you are reading this…
The Mystery (Plant) Deepens
No, the mystery plant has not yet bloomed, and it’s starting to drive me nuts. The largest of the buds is now nearly two inches long and tubular. This is what it looked like yesterday” The bud turned white sometime during the day today, and is just starting to part at the tip. It doesn’t…

The closest thing Iâve come to finding that fits my desires and skill sets is located in…
Another Cat Story
The Professor retired early last night at around 9:00. I had a few things to file, and get ready for today, so I stayed up another hour or so. I took care of most of what I had to, and went to take a shower. I nearly took a picture of the cats as I…
Bravo! The Swedish Chef cracks me up every time.
It reminds me of when I took high school band trips on the school bus and we’d all sing our parts together to the pieces we were working on.
It didn’t sound as good as the muppets, though. 😀
LOL! I miss the Muppets.
Animal! A – ni – mal!
I was in band in high school, along with all the other high school geeks. We played Stars and Stripes Forever and in a fashion very similar to this we would sing our instruments’ parts on bus rides. It was fun and I can still do it, although never in the same range as the piccolo I usually played for this song. But the sousaphone players couldn’t sing in their instruments’ range, either. I was lucky to have been a versatile player. Sometimes I played flute or piccolo and sometimes I played one of the saxophones. Heck, I even played drums or glockenspiel on occasion. It just depended on what we needed at the moment.
Oh for the old Muppet Show days….
