I know she’s trying to help, but it’s driving me nuts. Shoulda gone to the library.
Of all the things I’ve lost …
… I miss my mind the most. This week so far: Tuesday: I was supposed to get blood work done. I forgot. I thought it was NEXT Tuesday. Still waiting for fall-out over that one. Wednesday: Spent all afternoon waiting for The Socialist’s Aunt Artist and Uncle Oregon to call. They never did. I got…
Check-ups, Errands and Butts
My last visit for a check up at the transplant center was January sixth. They decided then that they didn’t need to see me for four months, and scheduled me for an appointment on May fourth (next Tuesday). It would have served as a one-year check up as well. Note that by the use of…

They are indeed Campenula medium. For more and better pictures go to Canterbury Bell Google Search. Derna’s Diary
There’s a relatively new diarist afoot, and one who has captured my interest. Check out Derna’s Fund Raising Diary Her plans have trapped my attention, my admiration and my jealousy. I’m going to try and do a little fundraising at work for her. Lord knows, the Girl Scout Cookie Mothers, and the Daffodils for Cancer…
Welcome back comments!
I’m pleased and surprised that comments are back. I was afraid this was going to take a far longer amount of time than it did. DD admins must have bust a gut getting a fix out there. It’ll be nice to exchange communiqués again. I’ll leave a link to my board up for general discussion…
Bravo! The Swedish Chef cracks me up every time.
It reminds me of when I took high school band trips on the school bus and we’d all sing our parts together to the pieces we were working on.
It didn’t sound as good as the muppets, though. 😀
LOL! I miss the Muppets.
Animal! A – ni – mal!
I was in band in high school, along with all the other high school geeks. We played Stars and Stripes Forever and in a fashion very similar to this we would sing our instruments’ parts on bus rides. It was fun and I can still do it, although never in the same range as the piccolo I usually played for this song. But the sousaphone players couldn’t sing in their instruments’ range, either. I was lucky to have been a versatile player. Sometimes I played flute or piccolo and sometimes I played one of the saxophones. Heck, I even played drums or glockenspiel on occasion. It just depended on what we needed at the moment.
Oh for the old Muppet Show days….
