Of course I remember 911, Alli. I just don’t recall Sadam Hussein being involved at the time. I do recall bin Laden being implicated. And if we are to say that Saddam is to blame because he aided bin Laden (along with a cast of a hundred others), then we also have to take a…
Butter ‘n Beads
“If toast always lands butter-side down, and cats always land on their feet, what happens if you strap toast on the back of a cat and drop it?” -Steven Wright Kibbles ‘n Bits it ain’t, but the beads sure are little itty bitty things. Satan’s Little Fart Cloud’s new medication requires that I open up…
Scene of the Crime
I spent the day typing change of address letters to the various organizations and journals I subscribe to. Yes, I know I should have done this weeks ago, but events overtook me, and facing that mound of crappola was really more than I wanted to deal with. It wasn’t until I noticed that I had…
End of the funk?
Things seem to be ironing themselves out. Which means that I’m finally regaining some sense of balance again. I’m hoping this means that the black cloud that I’ve kept on a close leash these past few weeks is finally beginning to dissipate. The Professor had his calculus class to teach last night. It didn’t sound as good as the muppets, though. 😀
LOL! I miss the Muppets.
Animal! A – ni – mal!
I was in band in high school, along with all the other high school geeks. We played Stars and Stripes Forever and in a fashion very similar to this we would sing our instruments’ parts on bus rides. It was fun and I can still do it, although never in the same range as the piccolo I usually played for this song. But the sousaphone players couldn’t sing in their instruments’ range, either. I was lucky to have been a versatile player. Sometimes I played flute or piccolo and sometimes I played one of the saxophones. Heck, I even played drums or glockenspiel on occasion. It just depended on what we needed at the moment.
Oh for the old Muppet Show days….
