Haven’t felt much like updating recently. Haven’t felt much like anything, truth be told. I’ll put it down to end of summer blues. Technically it isn’t end of summer for another couple of weeks, but if the Southern Hemisphere can call September 1st the first day of spring, then I can call it the first…
The Socialist had to take me downtown for check-up number 5 at Big City Hospital this morning. Hard to believe, but it’s been eight weeks now since I got the new liver, and I’ve been home for six weeks. Today’s landmark decisions to come out of the follow-up: – I get to drop two of…
No, hardly a stroll, I fear. This was three hours of climbing straight uphill, then heading straight downhill, only to head straight uphill again. It was good exercise, and I enjoyed myself immensely, but sheesh, haven’t those guys ever heard of “switchbacks”????? The Professor and I spent the day at Susquehannock State Park, which is…
Give me credit: I smelled the vegemite. Let’s start slow with this, eh?
There’s a support request 1215048131 addressing the problem you described to me. I had to switch from hotmail to gmail because hotmail kept screwing up deardiary’s notices – apparently hotmail has gotten the peculiar notion that deardiary is a spammer. Be brave. be proud. Flaunt your efforts. What’s the worst that could happen, a snarky comment?
Oh Bravo! Oh, well done!
If you don’t get an A, the teacher is a dolt!
Write On!
That’s very good – and I really mean that. It explains the mysterious behaviour I’ve observed for years 🙂
I’m sure Katie has a good home, and will lord it over her new servants.
Oh, bravo! What a clever ending, with a twist I didn’t see coming!
We saw Shrek 2 Sunday night, as well, and laughed loudly and frequently. My favorite moment was the hairball scene. The way the artists drew that sudden lack of focus and the expression on the cat’s face was priceless.
I wondered if you’d have trouble giving up the kitten. I also wonder how Kimi will cope, after six weeks, was it? of cat sitting. I wonder if she’ll end up going out and getting another Abbyssinian.
I’m so glad the kitten has found a home! Even cooler you will be able to keep track of her.
As for the other entry, I love it! Very well done.
I forgot!! Thank you for dedicating it to Jinco. Ashley and I were looking at pictures of him last night. He is sorely missed.
Re your FOE: Well Done!! 🙂
Re finding kitten a good home: Well Done!! 🙂
Three stars for Salamander *** 😉
Now THAT story really rocks. Good work! 🙂
I thought of Dekyi this morning, and wondered how you were all getting along.
I really hope she becomes an important part of her new family.
I love your short story, and the dedication to Jinco touched me.
