Survival. I guess that’s what it’s all about. I just have to figure out if I still have a pulse at this point. I got almost no sleep Sunday night. I kept waking up, worrying about how Monday was going to go. I had visions of National Geographic showing up unannounced on my doorstep Monday…
WHY must that man always want to discuss that damned car of his at 1:00 in the morning? Now he’s asleep and I’m awake, and once again I am NOT a happy camper. That settles it. I’m blowing up the car repair shop AND shooting him. THEN maybe I’ll get some sleep. Or at least…
It’s more like who I am simultaneously. I have a seond diary here at DD that I keep for a group of people who met in cyberspace and have become friends. We post to each other on a message board that the Professor created. It’s nice in that it is a very ecclectic, international community….
The Professor teaches until late tonight. With time on my hands and no idea how to celebrate, I took myself to Borders Books, where I spent my 25% off one item, not-to-be-combined-with-any-other-discount-or-offer, not-valid-for-electronics-or-DVD-sets birthday coupon on Orson Scott Card’s latest book of short stories. I also got a book on reading cat body language and…
Yes, what we have here is three cats approching critical mass. Note the glowing demon eyes of ACfH, the refusal of the Warrior Princess to acknowledge the camera, and Clueless Wonder’s , well … clueless expression. Speaking of Clueless Wonder, lets take a peak at that cat again. Anybody notice anything peculiar about the eyes?…
9754 games of Snood on the screen. 9754 games of Snood. You knock them down, and end one more round. 9755 games of Snood on the screen. Come on, everybody. You know the words!
Be brave. be proud. Flaunt your efforts. What’s the worst that could happen, a snarky comment?
Oh Bravo! Oh, well done!
If you don’t get an A, the teacher is a dolt!
Write On!
That’s very good – and I really mean that. It explains the mysterious behaviour I’ve observed for years 🙂
I’m sure Katie has a good home, and will lord it over her new servants.
Oh, bravo! What a clever ending, with a twist I didn’t see coming!
We saw Shrek 2 Sunday night, as well, and laughed loudly and frequently. My favorite moment was the hairball scene. The way the artists drew that sudden lack of focus and the expression on the cat’s face was priceless.
I wondered if you’d have trouble giving up the kitten. I also wonder how Kimi will cope, after six weeks, was it? of cat sitting. I wonder if she’ll end up going out and getting another Abbyssinian.
I’m so glad the kitten has found a home! Even cooler you will be able to keep track of her.
As for the other entry, I love it! Very well done.
I forgot!! Thank you for dedicating it to Jinco. Ashley and I were looking at pictures of him last night. He is sorely missed.
Re your FOE: Well Done!! 🙂
Re finding kitten a good home: Well Done!! 🙂
Three stars for Salamander *** 😉
Now THAT story really rocks. Good work! 🙂
I thought of Dekyi this morning, and wondered how you were all getting along.
I really hope she becomes an important part of her new family.
I love your short story, and the dedication to Jinco touched me.
